The outdoor play area is accessible, safe and attractive. Our client is delighted with it and the community have their outdoor space again. The entire project took us just two days to complete. From clearing the space to installing the recycled rubber safety surface – all in just 48 hours!

Our resin bound recycled rubber crumb was the perfect solution to their issue. All of our resin bound surfaces are critical fall height certified, so the 1.5m fall height requirement was fine. We provided a 75mm deep covering across the entire surface. The entire install process took just 1 day to complete and was ready for use 24 hours later.

As an effective, and cost-saving alternative you can use our fully certified loose rubber chippings to provide a colourful and safe surface. Rubber chippings are very simple to lay and can be used as a safety surface for play areas and also as a fantastic decorative mulch for garden borders and paths.

Safer Surfacing wetpour is a flexible impact attenuating surface made from polyurethane coloured 1-4mm recycled rubber crumb. This is also known as a wearing course, or play surface.

This differs from the traditional EPDM (Ethylene Propylene diene Monomer) which uses virgin rubber and is more expensive than our recycled rubber products.

The new site is now live and the initial feedback is really positive. The navigation is simple, the message is clear and the shopping experience is easy! We are really pleased that it is now complete – but this is just the starting point. After an initial meeting to discuss the issue, we assured them that we would be able to transform the space into a usable and scenic part of their garden without the cost and inconvenience of having to remove the concrete. We showed the clients our ideas and they were more than happy to proceed.

With removing the base no being an option we decided to see what we could do to make this a usable and aesthetically pleasing area of the garden. We decided that we would create a safe, visually appealing and year round garden area.

The end result is clear to see; we have happy children who can play to their heart’s content (in any weather too!) We also have happy parents who have a solution to their garden play area problem. the area is safe, long lasting, and affordable.
