Drainage is a big problem for urban areas. Our rubber surfacing (including resin bound) is completely permeable meaning waters drains away with no puddling or pooling.
The rubber surfacing is very easy to clean and can be hosed and brushed to remove dirt when wanted.
Chippings often blow away or rot, our rubber surfacing does neither. It maintains its form, not rotting or decomposing and does not blow away.

Our client asked us to remove their existing play surface – which was worn out, bland and unattractive. The original surface had rubber tiles to cover holes in it, which created trip hazards. They wanted a new play surface that was safe, colourful and recycled. Terracotta resin bound crumb with blue splashes was selected as the play surface.
We were recently approached by one of our favourite registered charities (and one of our favourite days out!) Chester Zoo. They have been very busy developing their latest children’s play area – Madagascar PLAY! They were looking for a suitable safety surface that looked like a part of the landscape, whilst also providing an element of safety and durability. The play area provides fun and adventure for children in the form of climbing frames, cargo nets and much more.
